Corey Krusa

Happy Golfer

My name is Corey Krusa and have been a golf teaching professional for over 25 years with the last 15 years spent teaching at the Pennington Golf Center. I have been playing the game since I was 12 years old and played for my high school team, college team and on small mini tour events as a professional in Florida. In 2015, I began to have pain and limited movement in my left shoulder which lead me to play very little or not at all due to my frustration with the pain and lack of movement. Later that year, I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder by my orthopedic physician.

I went through the recommended physical therapy (PT) with a well-known rehabilitation company and saw very little change with each therapist and no improvement in my mobility. What I didn’t like most was that with each appointment, I was handed off to a different therapist, who always told me to do the same exercises, and each therapist constantly typed on their computer, spending little or no time with me personally.

After over a year of frustration from not seeing any improvement with my frozen shoulder diagnosis, I made the decision to change my PT when during a golf certification training class I had heard about the benefits of a different type of PT called Manual Physical Therapy.

My first session with Dr. Gianna Bigliani was a one-on-one 90-minute session. From the first minute, I knew this was different. Dr. G took the time to ask questions about my pain and limitations and explained why I was having problems with my shoulder and how she wanted to proceed with the Manual Physical Therapy. After the first session, the amount of mobility, extension and reduced pain was AMAZING. I realized quickly that if I kept up with the recommended exercises and stretches that I would be back to the level of performance and mobility that I expected as a golf player and instructor.

I can’t thank Dr. Gianna Bigliani and the staff at Fluid Physio enough for the professionalism and the time personally spent with me. Their personal attention and different type of PT gave me my golf life and personal life back! I am finally able to have better range of motion in my shoulder and have eliminated the searing pain I always felt doing the simplest of tasks like putting on a shirt or scratching my back.

I am so grateful for Dr. G and my renewed ability to play and teach the game of golf that I love!
