Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is the inflammation of tissue on the bottom of the foot, which connects your heel bone to your toes.
This tissue can become tender when you walk in shoes that do not fit well or when you do too much exercise without allowing your body to recover. It can also be due to an inherited foot structure or flat feet.
The best way to decrease the pain associated with plantar fasciitis is to continue stretching, icing, and resting the foot. It is important to seek professional help from a physical therapist or medical doctor if at-home treatment is not successful.
At Fluid Physio, we can create an exercise plan that will help stimulate healing and prepare the foot for activity when the time is right. Call us at 609-436-0366 or email us at office@fluidphysio.com to schedule your appointment today.
