John Rossi Success Story

Updated: Dec 4, 2022

“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision, it is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”

In 2018, I was cursed with a torn meniscus and torn calf muscle, but blessed after meeting Dr. Gianna Bigliani and the Fluid Physio Team. Some of my loftier goals for 2018 included a return to Lake Placid, NY, home of the “Miracle on Ice” to complete my 3rd full distance IronMan, complete the Bird in Hand Half Marathon near Lancaster, Pa. and complete the Atlantic City 70.3 IronMan event.

I was gearing up for the 2018 triathlon season with my beloved coach and Dt+n teammates, when the knee injury occurred on an early morning run through Mercer County Park.I had slipped on a very small fallen branch and felt a “pop” in my left knee. After completing an MRI and visiting Dr. Peter Wenger, the results were not good. Shortly following the knee injury, I tore my right calf muscle during another training run. Needless to say, by the time I was referred to Dr. G, I was a mess.

My injuries left me feeling defeated at times, barely being able to run 3 miles while preparing for a full IronMan (which includes completing a full 26.2 mile marathon event) was not very encouraging.

With the teamwork of my Dt+n Coach, Dr. Wenger and the priceless physical therapy from Dr. G, I reached all my goals for 2018. The unique hands on physical therapy approach, words of encouragement and upbeat demeanor of Dr. G pushed me to a health place to reach my goals. Dr. G. has placed me on a path to complete my very first Boston Marathon in April 2019, this event has been on my “bucket list” for quite some time now. Thank you Dr. G. for all you have done as a member of Team Rossi!
