Ayesha Mustafa, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist • Holistic, Individualized Care • Fall Prevention & Recovery

Dr. Ayesha Mustafa was born and raised in Maryland, USA and received her B.S. in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.  She later moved to New Jersey and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2017.

Her clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, aquatics, pediatrics, and ICU settings have afforded her the opportunity to treat patients from all backgrounds and also utilize her language skills (Urdu/Hindi, Arabic, and some Spanish). No matter what age, Dr. Mustafa strongly believes that every patient is an athlete and helping patients get back to doing what they love doing is heart and soul of what a physical therapist’s job is. She has a passion for fall recovery and prevention training particularly with older adults who have a history of falls and who are looking to improve their independence and functional mobility. Her work with patients with complex and chronic conditions has impressed upon her that an individualized, holisitc approach encompassing sleep, nutrition, exercise and mental health is a necessity to help her all patients thrive.

Dr. Mustafa’s zeal for life is apparent in all that she does, from telling endless Dad-jokes and cooking to training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu multiple times a week. She lives in Lawrenceville with her husband, daughter and son and loves spending time together and visiting family and friends.
